As we look ahead to Matchday 3, UEFA.com casts an eye over some of the most popular picks among managers, alongside those lesser-owned assets who could spring a surprise on #UCLfantasy, presented by Playstation.
Manuel Neuer (€6.0m) vs Plzeň (H)
Although Neuer's #UCLfantasy ownership percentage is lower than usually expected from a popular pick, the German is the joint-second highest owned goalkeeper as it stands. With two clean sheets and 13 Fantasy points across the first two rounds of Group C fixtures, Neuer's stock is only likely to rise heading into Matchday 3, on which Bayern play host to a Plzeň side who have lost both of their group games so far.

Antonio Adán (€4.5m) vs Marseille (A)
Another goalkeeper who is coming off the back of consecutive UEFA Champions League shut-outs. Six saves in Sporting CP's 2-0 triumph against Tottenham led to Adán picking up eight Fantasy points, the joint most among goalkeepers on Matchday 2. On Matchday 3 Rúben Amorim's side travel to Marseille, who are yet to score in Group D, and Adán's low #UCLfantasy ownership combined with his cheap price tag make him a potential bargain buy.

Alphonso Davies (€5.5m) vs Plzeň (H)
Defensive assets from Bayern are in popular demand among the #UCLfantasy community. Davies has started both of Bayern's wins so far and gained 11 ball recoveries, which has contributed to his overall score of 15 Fantasy points. The Canadian full-back's attacking threat complements his defensive qualities and makes him a popular asset ahead of the German champions' meeting with Plzeň in Munich.

Joël Matip (€5.0m) vs Rangers (H)
Despite Liverpool failing to keep a clean sheet against Ajax, centre-back Matip finished with a haul of 13 points, bettered only by one other defender on Matchday 2. Matip scored the winning goal for the Reds, to go alongside his seven ball recoveries which led to him being awarded the Player of the Match bonus. Jürgen Klopp's side welcome Rangers on Matchday 3, with the Scottish outfit so far having failed to find the net in Group A, and Matip could prove an excellent differential option.

Kevin De Bruyne (€10.5m) vs Copenhagen (H)
Despite his premium price tag, De Bruyne is still among the top five most popular midfielders on #UCLfantasy. Manchester's City's creative hub, De Bruyne set up a goal in victories against both Sevilla and Dortmund, and the Belgian's overall performances earned him the Player of the Match prize in both games. It would be no surprise to see the 31-year-old's ownership rise further before the Matchday 3 deadline, with a home match against Copenhagen up next for the Premier League champions.

Alexis Saelemaekers (€6.7m) vs Chelsea (A)
Another Belgian midfielder making a big splash in the UEFA Champions League is Milan's Saelemaekers, the 23-year-old following his goal and Player of the Match award on Matchday 1 by finding the net once again on Matchday 2. Despite already accumulating 17 Fantasy points, Saelemaekers remains somewhat overlooked by the majority of #UCLfantasy managers, so those looking for a point of difference within their midfield could make huge gains by bringing him in for Matchday 3, with Milan travelling to a Chelsea side who have conceded in each of their first two games.

Kylian Mbappé (€11.1m) vs Benfica (A)
Despite the plethora of attractive forward options among the Paris Saint-Germain front line, Mbappé remains the most in-demand asset from a #UCLfantasy perspective. The Frenchman's 22 points is the most among forwards thanks to three goals and two Player of the Match awards. Only Erling Haaland among forwards has more owners than the 23-year-old and although a tough trip to Benfica awaits on Matchday 3, the formidable Mbappé could certainly provide further goals.

Ferran Jutglá (€5.5m) vs Atlético (H)
The differential diamond of Matchday 2. No player acquired a higher Fantasy score than Jutglá's 14 points in Club Brugge's 4-0 romp away to Porto. Jutglá not only won, and scored, a penalty, but also set up his side's second goal, helping him collected the Player of the Match award. The Spaniard's bargain price should only enhance his credentials for #UCLfantasy bosses searching for a striker who could help them steal a march on their mini-league rivals. Club Brugge's next opponents Atlético have conceded three times in Group B.
