UEFA Champions League contenders Udinese Calcio have recruited Brazilian centre-back Danilo Larangeira on a five-year-deal from SE Palmeiras for an undisclosed fee.
The 27-year-old Danilo, who made 67 league appearances for Palmeiras after arriving from Clube Atlético Paranaense in 2009, is the first summer signing for Francesco Guidolin's side. The Friulani qualified for the UEFA Champions League play-offs after finishing fourth in Serie A last season.
