Back in UEFA Champions League group stage after 12 years away, GNK Dinamo Zagreb are savouring the prospect of tackling Real Madrid CF in Group D, coach Krunoslav Jurčić describing facing the nine-time winners as "my dream come true". The section also features Olympique Lyonnais and AFC Ajax, whose coach, Frank de Boer, thinks his team have "a hell of a job" to reach the last 16.

We've played Lyon [many times] over the past seven years and it is always a tricky place for us to go; we've never won there. They are a side with a very solid defence and are mature and competitive. Ajax are a team that has evolved a lot and despite the fact they have lost Luis Suárez, they won their league playing very good football towards the end of the campaign. Dinamo are very strong at home, where they are backed by very passionate fans who help the team a lot.
Rémi Garde, Lyon coach
The aim will be to advance to the last 16. Madrid are naturally the favourites in this group. They are the very best with a coach, José Mourinho, who deserves much respect, and, in Karim Benzema, a player we know very well. As for the other two sides, expect lively games. Ajax play the Dutch way and are scoring a lot of goals at the moment. Dinamo Zagreb also play stylish football. We'll get some info from [Lyon defender] Dejan Lovren, who came through the ranks over there.
Frank de Boer, Ajax coach
It will be a hell of a job. Madrid and Lyon are fantastic sides; they always qualify for the knockout stage.
Ajax lost 4-0 to Madrid last season; do we want revenge? Yes. Getting through the group stage would be nice, but it is always a case of wait and see. We have to start in a positive frame of mind. We can make life difficult for any team. It will be tough, but there is no need to panic.
Krunoslav Jurčić, Dinamo coach
. It's fantastic. My players will definitely enjoy playing in this group. I don't want to make any predictions; let's enjoy this moment for a bit and later we can start to collect information about our opponents and assess our chances.
Getting Real Madrid in the group stage is the best thing that could have happened to Dinamo. My dream came true; I really wanted to get Real Madrid and José Mourinho
