Rémi Garde, Lyon coach
We took a good step towards [the win] in the first half. Hats off to the players. They are in a run of tough games and are delivering convincing results. I'm happy. We took the three points and didn't concede a goal.

Especially in the first half, I think that my team were in control of Dinamo Zagreb. We feared them a little bit because they are a mix of technique and skills when they go forward. But I thought that, in the first half, our team play was delightful. I'm proud of the players who dug deep and found the physical resources to make the difference tonight. I'm very happy and very proud they managed to do that tonight.

Krunoslav Jurčić, Dinamo Zagreb coach
I was impressed when I noticed on the scoreboard before the match that this was Lyon's 100th match in the Champions League. Lyon are such an experienced team and that is something my team is missing. You need experience to play quality football and to get chances from that.

We conceded goals from two mistakes and obviously my players were affected by the importance of the match. But, I must congratulate them because they gave their best efforts and they played well. We will try to make a better impression against Ajax in our next match.
