Tough task ahead for Terim despite win

Paulo Sérgio, CFR coach
It is a bad result, but I do not have totally negative feelings, because I knew about the difference between us and Galatasaray. The second and the third goals came after individual mistakes from our players. After [László] Sepsi left the pitch injured our whole approach had to change, while our equaliser was followed by childish mistakes from us.

Our players played and fought against a quality team and that is why they deserve congratulations. We should be proud, and I am proud, because we lost against a good team, but I am optimistic with regards to our qualification chances. It is a frustrating defeat, we had our opportunities, but at this level the efficiency should be higher.

Fatih Terim, Galatasaray coach
I am very happy because we showed what was overshadowed in the first game in Istanbul. I congratulate our opponents, they fought very well. Our fans backed the team with fantastic support.

If we can get a result in the next game, very different things may happen in the group. We had made a calculation before coming here. I hope that we'll beat Manchester United, while Cluj will defeat Braga.

Next we'll play a very hard match against Manchester United. We have the hardest remaining fixture now. Now that Manchester have already guaranteed advancing to the next round, they will mostly play with reserves against us. But even their reserve players have quality. However, the situation is that Manchester United are a big, quality team. I hope we can win and every player has a role to do to achieve this.
