Double boost for Wisla

Wisla Kraków have extended goalkeeper Radoslaw Majdan's contract and signed defender Marek Zienczuk.

Five-year contract
The 25-year-old Zienczuk, a left-sided midfield player, has been capped three times by Poland. He joins from KS Amica Wronki for an undisclosed fee and has signed a five-year contract.

Impressive form
Meanwhile the 32-year-old Majdan, who joined the club on a free transfer during the winter break and originally only had a contract until the end of the 2003/04 season, has accepted the offer of a two-year extension.

"Very happy"
"I must say that I am very happy," said Majdan. "In the winter I said that I would like to stay in Kraków." Capped seven times by his country, Majdan appeared at the 2002 FIFA World Cup finals.
