Djurgårdens IF could be without midfield player Stefan Bergtoft for their UEFA Champions League opener.
After twisting his knee during the match Bergtoft feared the worst and was relieved to discover he had not done more damage. "I injured my cruciate ligaments a couple of years ago, and that was very tough," Bergtoft said.
"You are worried when these things happen, but now it's just a question of getting enough rest and then getting back into the game as soon as possible." Bergtoft has cemented his place in the Djurgården side this term after making 16 appearances for the Swedish champions last season.
Champions League goal
The 25-year-old will hope to be fit for the start of Djurgården's Champions League campaign when they kick off in the second qualifying round on 28 July against either Maltese side Sliema Wanderers FC or FBK Kaunas of Lithuania. However the match may come too soon for him.
