Markus Rosenberg, Malmö forward
The most important goals were the ones that took us here [to the group stage]. Now that we're here we want to win. We're strong at home. We won against Sparta Praha, Salzburg and now Olympiacos. We know we can beat every team here.

We didn't have so much of the ball because we closed down one side, so they had a lot of the ball in their own half. When they came into our half we won the ball and counterattacked a lot. Thelin up front won every long ball and I could get in behind him. Over the game we created five or six really good chances and only scored two. It was a good game from us.

Our ambition has always been to get through even if nobody believed that. Nobody believed in us when we said we wanted to get into the Champions League but now we're here, we know we can do big things here. We're going for nine points at home and hopefully some bonus points away.

Åge Hareide, Malmö coach
The tactics were to have the players on the right side so that we didn't have to chase the ball; try to head the ball on crosses and be aware about their attacking wing-backs. Let them have the ball a lot and then attack quickly. I think that we succeded very well with that.

We got the goal luckily at the end of the first half, but tactically we were successful. In the second half we decided to go to five defenders since Markus Halsti could not run. He could just stand, and he does that very well.

It's [going to] be difficult [to get through]. The home games will be important and every team has to win there. The game in Greece will be very different. Atletico and Juventus are probably the two best teams in the group and will probably take the two top places in the group.  Against the other teams we have to find a tactical game that works. We have to control the game like we did today and keep them out of the area.

It is always good [to celebrate with the crowd]. It is small margins in football. One day you are a hero. The next day you are an idiot. But it is not only me, it's the whole staff that works for me and the players. And the fans! The whole city. That's the strength of Malmö. Teams that come here are very surprised by the crowd. It is not just the hardcore fans, but all the stadium. It is unbelievable. Everybody is behind the team. It is fantastic, and the players feel this.

Míchel, Olympiacos coach
We showed character, but we didn't win, and if you make mistakes in this competition you will lose. The goals we conceded were not normal, but I don't want to blame any of my players.

The Champions League is a competition with strong teams, and Malmö is a strong team. We already knew that. Now we have to try even harder in the future. We have got one good result, and one not so good.

Roberto, Olympiacos goalkeeper
Malmö played a similar game to us. They didn't play at a higher level, but they were stronger in defensive moments. We have to examine ourselves mentally because we are in the Champions League and cannot make these mistakes. In games these things happen, misunderstandings between players. But we don't have to spend more time thinking about that.

We have the same ambition in the Champions League. Everyone has three points now. We start again. We can say that everyone in the group starts again because we all have three points. We have to think that we are in a good position, in the same position as the other teams and we have to fight and look forward.
