Deportivo dealt triple blow

RC Deportivo La Coruña's Mauro Silva, Aldo Duscher and Víctor Sánchez will miss the Olympiacos CFP game.

Mauro Silva out for three weeks
Deportivo warmed up for Olympiacos's trip to the Riazor on Wednesday with a surprising 3-1 home defeat at the hands of ten-man CA Osasuna. Duscher was forced from the field after just eleven minutes when he sprained a knee ligament, and his replacement, 36-yeaar-old Mauro Silva, followed suit before the hour after pulling a calf muscle. Duscher will be absent for around ten days but in Mauro Silva' s case, he could be missing for up to three weeks.

Sánchez hamstrung
Sánchez, meanwhile, complained of a sore hamstring after the match and tests today revealed inflammation which will take three or four days to clear. Better news for Deportivo is that club captain Fran González has returned to training after recovering from a knee problem.
