Bayern München v Benfica
Lothar Matthäus (2-0): Bayern have home advantage, and the quality of their players and their team speaks for itself. Benfica are not under any pressure but Bayern are clear favourites.
Deco (2-0): We saw in the last round how strong Bayern are at home and I think they will come away victorious from this one.

Barcelona v Atlético Madrid
Lothar Matthäus (1-0): Barcelona have the strongest attack in the world, the experience as well as home advantage. Atlético are combative and could keep a clean sheet, while Barcelona are uncomfortable playing against them. I do not expect this tie to be over after the first leg.
Deco (2-0): Atleti have some injuries at the back and Barcelona's front three are incredible so I can see a home win.

Wolfsburg v Real Madrid
Lothar Matthäus (0-2): There is nothing in Wolfsburg's favour except the thrill of playing at home, though they should enjoy the game. Under Zinédine Zidane, Madrid have become a unit again. The quality of their individual players and the fact you can guarantee Cristiano Ronaldo will score in the UEFA Champions League again makes them favourites for the title.
Deco (1-1):
Germany is always a difficult place to go and Wolfsburg will be up for this match. It will be close.

Paris Saint-Germain v Manchester City
Lothar Matthäus (2-0): Paris are even stronger than last year and are serious contenders for the title. City are outsiders – they have good individual players but have had a disappointing season so far and not lived up to expectations. All hopes are pinned on Kevin De Bruyne.
Deco (1-0): Another close encounter but I think home advantage will help Paris.
