Lyon worry over injured duo

Olympique Lyonnais defender Jérémy Berthod will miss the Fenerbahçe SK game, as may Juninho Pernambucano.

Fortnight out
The highly-rated Berthod picked up a thigh injury playing in the France Under-21 team's 1-0 win in Cyprus on Tuesday. After scans this morning, Lyon have ruled out the 20-year-old for at least two weeks, which means he cannot take part in Tuesday night's Group D match in Turkey.

Ankle strain
Meanwhile, Juninho strained his ankle following a collision with the referee during Brazil's 2006 FIFA World Cup qualifier in Venezuela on Saturday. He was substituted just after the hour mark of the 5-2 victory and was unable to play against Colombia on Wednesday.

Fitness fight
The 29-year-old, who has figured in Lyon's opening two Champions League fixtures, is now racing against time to be fit for next week as Lyon look to build on their solid start to the European campaign. Juninho was already suspended for Saturday's home league game against SM Caen.
