It's all to play for in the second legs of the round of 16, and we've identified four potential captains who could reward #UCLfantasy managers handsomely on matchday eight.

Who will you pick as your Fantasy captain?

TUESDAY 5 MARCH

Jadon Sancho (€4.9m) vs Tottenham (H)

Recommending a €4.9m player as your Fantasy captain may seem far-fetched at first glance, but a closer look reveals a player who could be an astute differential skipper. Eighteen-year-old Sancho has come of age at Dortmund this season, having notched nine goals and 14 assists in all competitions for the Bundesliga club. Despite the first-leg defeat at Wembley, Sancho was one of the German side's bright sparks, and they will need every ounce of his talent if they are overturn the 3-0 deficit. As the first of potentially four captain choices on matchday eight, Sancho could be worth taking an early punt on.

WEDNESDAY 6 MARCH

Kylian Mbappé (€10.0m) vs Man. United (H)

Paris hold a 2-0 advantage going into this second leg at home, and will be determined to put the tie beyond Manchester United's reach early on. The visitors are struggling with injuries at the moment, and Mbappé will be licking his lips at the prospect of exploiting any weaknesses. His statistics speak for themselves; four goals and three assists in the UEFA Champions League this season and seven goals in his last five games in all competitions, including the first leg at Old Trafford.

TUESDAY 12 MARCH

Cristiano Ronaldo (€12.0m) vs Atlético (H)

Owners of the five-time UEFA Champions League winner were left disappointed on matchday seven after Ronaldo, and indeed Juventus, failed to breach the impressive Atlético defence. But can the Spanish side be expected to keep him quiet again in Turin? They should know all about his abilities, as he has scored no fewer than 22 times against them in his illustrious career. Those who have kept faith with the competition's all-time top scorer could be rewarded if Juventus manage to turn this tie around.

WEDNESDAY 13 MARCH

Sadio Mané (€9.0m) vs Bayern (A)

There is good reason for including Lionel Messi in near enough every Captain Marvel article, and Fantasy managers will no doubt be placing the armband on the Argentinian in their droves once again, but here we offer an intriguing alternative for non-owners. So often playing second fiddle to Mohamed Salah in Jürgen Klopp's Liverpool side, Mané has been delivering the goods of late, with six goals in his last seven Premier League appearances. The tie with Bayern is in the balance after a goalless first leg, but it could really open up in Munich and Liverpool are capable of causing any team problems. In excellent goalscoring form, Mané could be a crafty Messi alternative.
