Besnik Hasi has extended his contract with RSC Anderlecht for another year.
Championship winner
The 32-year-old Albanian midfield player's current deal was due to expire at the end of the current campaign, but the club has extended it for an extra 12 months. Hasi signed for Anderlecht in the summer of 2000 from KRC Genk, and was in the side which won the championship in 2001 and 2004.
Genk glory
He helped Genk win the Belgian title in 1999 and the Belgian Cup in 2000 and has also played for a number of other sides all over Europe, including NK Zagreb and TSV 1860 München. Anderlecht bowed out of European competition in midweek after losing to Valencia CF in UEFA Champions League Group G.
