Rijkaard one of the boys

Frank Rijkaard said he felt part of his FC Barcelona side's 2-1 victory against Chelsea FC at Camp Nou.

Frank Rijkaard, Barcelona coach
It's Barcelona versus Chelsea - two very big clubs. There was a lot of talking before the match and, it seems, a lot of talking after it. José Mourinho has achieved a lot and he's a great coach but he lost tonight. When we win, I feel part of the victory and I'm pleased for the players. But it's annoying not to score more when we have so many chances. I congratulate my players but it helps when you have one of the Chelsea players sent off. They are a side that doesn't score many goals but are highly organised. We took the initiative but we didn't make the most of our chances.

Deco, Barcelona midfield player
Considering the way we played, the result isn't as good as it should have been. But we're very optimistic about the return match and we're not worried at all. Chelsea will have to work hard in the return leg. Maxi [López] was very important for us and he made the most of an excellent chance.

Maximiliano López, Barcelona striker
The match was very hard but the team deserved the result. The crowd was behind us all the time and it's a good result to take there.
