There is an assured presence behind the back four that is a very important factor. Edwin van der Sar has vast experience and he is a major contributing factor to what we have achieved this season. Villarreal didn't really bother us too much. We defended well in the second half and it was a sufficient performance to get us a reasonable result. Rooney's a young lad and the important thing for us is to refine his strengths and his good points. I thought after half-time we played more football while Villarreal created more chances, but I am happy with a point.
