Bayer 04 Leverkusen's Zoltán Sebescen faces up to eight weeks out after undergoing a second knee operation.
Bayer 04 Leverkusen midfield player Zoltán Sebescen faces up to eight weeks on the sidelines after undergoing surgery on his knee.
It is the second operation on the same knee this season for the 27-year-old German international, who hopes to return to action in late January following the winter break in the 1. Bundesliga.
Misses Inter match
Sebescen, who joined from VfL Wolfsburg in 2001, missed yesterday's 2-1 home defeat by FC Barcelona in the UEFA Champions League and will sit out the visit to Internazionale FC on 10 December. He has played just twice in the Champions League and six times in the Bundesliga this season.
Bayer coach Klaus Toppmöller lamented his side's injury problems when he said: "We have the plague - every week we have more injured players."
