Fenerbahçe bank on Yasin promise

Süper Lig champions Fenerbahçe SK have lured Rizespor's Turkish Under-21 international defender, Yasin Çakmak, to Istanbul on a four-year contract.

Fenerbahçe SK have signed Turkey Under-21 defender Yasin Çakmak from Rizespor.

Moving on
Yasin has left the Black Sea club to move to Istanbul on a four-year contract. "I hope I won't let down the people who have put their trust in me," said Fenerbahçe's new signing.

Youthful look
The 22-year-old has been capped once by Turkey at senior level and made 82 Süper Lig appearances during the last three seasons at Rizespor. The centre-back is another youthful acquisition by Fenerbahçe after the arrivals of Colin Kazım-Richards, İlhan Parlak and Gökhan Gönül. The Turkish champions will play Belgium's RSC Anderlecht in the UEFA Champions League third qualifying round.
