Four-year contract
Nigerian international Alfred Emejereve Omoefe has signed a four-year contract. "He's a striker with a good eye and the discipline of a defender," said Grasshoppers coach Marcel Koller of the 20-year old who has won four caps for his country.
Gane arrival
Grasshoppers have also signed 31-year-old Romanian international striker Ionel Gane on a year's loan from FC St Gallen. "Gane fits in our young squad because of his experience," Koller said. "He has sufficiently proven at St. Gallen that he is an excellent striker with 51 goals in 109 matches."
Chatruc loan
Finally, the 26-year-old José Manuel Chatruc has also joined the club on a one-year loan from Argentinian club Club Atlético San Lorenzo de Almagro.
