Leonid Slutski, CSKA coach
Of course an ambitious team like CSKA want to show what we can do, and even though we've got some difficulties with the squad and injured players, when we're playing it doesn't matter.

We know Monaco are really strong – they've not lost a match in our group and are playing confidently in Ligue 1, beating PSG [in August]. They're a very strong team with a well-established playing style.

Highlights: Monaco 1-1 Leverkusen

Leonardo Jardim, Monaco coach
Two months ago everyone said we'd been drawn in an even group. I see now that this is definitely the case – every match has been close. CSKA are a very strong side, the champions of Russia having managed to finish above Zenit. We are expecting a very difficult match.

The loss of Roman Eremenko and Alan Dzagoev is of course a blow, but their coach will find alternatives. CSKA will play aggressively but with their usual dynamism.

The pressure is firmly on an injury-hit CSKA, who could really do with a win after managing a solitary point from their opening two matches in Group E. The Army Men need an injection of urgency and Lacina Traoré could be the man to provide it as he comes up against his parent club. Unbeaten Monaco arrive in Moscow in high spirits despite the loss of Ramadel Falcao and will be looking to expose a CSKA defence which has looked less than solid in this competition.
