Our home games are always going to be very important for us. We hope we can produce the same performance as our last game here. We were disappointed we didn't get the win in the end [against Manchester City on matchday two], but the performance level was particularly pleasing.
This will be an equally tough game with a different sort of challenge against a very good side. They have an outstanding young team. It will be a tough game for us but we will be ready for it.

We are coming into an intimidating atmosphere and the players must play with lots of aggression. It is important we play aggressively, with lots of impact. Celtic are a high-quality team but we have prepared thoroughly for this game.
It's always difficult without key players, especially when they are your best goalscorers and defenders. However, we have a good squad and we will play for a positive result.

Celtic will see this as an opportunity to open up a gap between themselves and Gladbach in what is likely to be a race for third place. Rodgers has a full squad at his disposal while Schubert has to make do without Andreas Christensen, Thorgan Hazard and Raffael. City struggled to cope with the intensity of Celtic Park and with another full house expected, Gladbach – with just four wins out of 17 away games under Schubert – may find it similarly daunting.
