What time should I arrive at the stadium?Ā 

Gates will open at 18:00 for a 21:00 kick-off. We recommend arriving at the stadium 3 hours before the start of the match to allow sufficient time for ticket and security checks.

Do I have to use the entrance stated on my ticket?

Yes, you must use the specific entrance listed on your mobile ticket. You can only enter the stadium via this entrance.

Once I enter the stadium, can I leave and come back in?

Re-entry is not permitted. If you choose to leave the stadium, you will not be allowed back in again.

If I’m late to the match, can I still enter after kick-off?

You’llĀ still be allowed to enter the stadiumĀ as long asĀ the security situation allows it. However, entrances may close at some point during the game and you may not beĀ permittedĀ entry.Ā Start your journey well in advance and allowĀ additionalĀ time for security and ticket checks.Ā Ā 

Is there a minimum age to attend the match?

There is no minimum age to attend the match but everyone must hold a valid match ticket to enter the stadium, regardless of their age.

Ticket holders under the age of 16 can only enter the stadium with an accompanying adult. The accompanying adult must also have a valid match ticket.

Do young children need a match ticket?

Yes, everyone must hold a valid match ticket to enter the stadium. There are no exceptions.

You can bring flags or banners that are a maximum of 2m x 1.5m and flagpoles that are a maximum of 1m long and 1cm in diameter.Ā Ā 

What kind of flags and banners can I bring into the stadium?

Flags and banners must be made from materials which are deemed to be non-flammable and comply with local law requirements.

They cannot carry any forbidden or discriminatory symbols that constitute a criminal offence in Germany. All items must meet the general requirements for flags, flagpoles or banners outlined above.

Can I smoke inside the stadium? What about e-cigarettes?

Smoking is not allowed inside the stadium. This policy includes e-cigarettes and heat-not-burn tobacco products.

Can I bring a bag into the stadium?

We highly recommend not bringing a bag with you on matchday. Bags larger than A4 size will not be allowed inside the stadium.

Can I bring my own food and drink into the stadium?

No, you’re not allowed to bring your own food or drink, including alcohol, into the stadium. Drink containers, whether full or empty, cannot be taken into the stadium.

I need to bring an item from the prohibited list for medical reasons. Does it need to be requested in advance?

No, it doesn't need to be requested in advance. However, if you need to bring medical equipment (including prepared food or drink and medication), you must bring a formal letter from your medical professional to the match. This letter mustĀ stateĀ your medical requirements.Ā Please make sure you use the designated accessibility lane at your entrance and show the certificate to the stewards so they can assist you with your request.
