Romania invite omitted five to EURO as guests

Romania coach Anghel Iordănescu has invited Alin Toşca, Andrei Ivan, Ioan Hora, Adrian Ropotan and Alexandru Maxim to UEFA EURO 2016 as guests after leaving them out of his final squad.

Romania coach Anghel Iordănescu has invited Alin Toşca, Andrei Ivan, Ioan Hora, Adrian Ropotan and Alexandru Maxim to France as guests after cutting them from his final squad for UEFA EURO 2016.

"I would like to thank all players who were present in Italy [for the recent training camp], as well as their clubs," said Iordănescu. "I am so sorry that I had to leave out five players, but together with the bosses of the Romanian FA we have decided to invite all five to EURO as our guests."
