My big guns failed to fire on matchday one – but I'm hoping some minor tactical tweaking will sort things out for the second round of games.
Antoine Griezmann, Kevin De Bruyne and – perhaps most surprisingly – Cristiano Ronaldo all drew a blank in their first outings but I'm hoping that will change second time around. With matches against Albania, the Republic of Ireland and Austria respectively to come, there's every chance it might.
My stars were Arkadiusz Milik, who scored the only goal for Poland against Northern Ireland, and Dimitri Payet, with a strike and an assist for France. Manuel Neuer and Gianluigi Buffon each kept a clean sheet – if only I could have them both in the team – as did Germany's Kevin Hector.
Defender Jason Denayer (Belgium) and midfielder Piotr Zieliński (Poland) didn't play at all, however, and that duo are candidates to be replaced. I was very impressed with a couple of cheap defensive options on matchday one, namely Ivan Strinić (Croatia, €4.0m) and Italy's Emanuele Giaccherini (€5.0m).
In midfield, I quite fancy Portugal's Renato Sanches (€4.5m), but I'll have a look at my funds and assess my options. Whoever you choose to pick, all the best for matchday two!
