The former German international, who took over last December following the resignation of Italian Giuseppe Dossena, has already admitted that he faces a difficult task in qualifying for the finals in Portugal.

Albania are currently third in Group 10 and will play Russia in Tirana on March 29 before welcoming the Irish four days later. Previously they drew 1-1 against Switzerland before a 4-1 defeat in Russia.
