Dunfermline FC striker Stevie Crawford has been drafted into the Scotland squad for the EURO 2004™ qualifier against the Faroe Islands next month.
Superb start
The 28-year-old is joined in the squad by Leicester City FC forward Paul Dickov. Crawford has enjoyed an excellent start to the season, scoring four times in the opening four games, including a hat-trick in a 4-2 win over Dundee FC.
Sullivan out
Coach Berti Vogts is determined to strengthen his forward line after the loss of Neil McCann of Rangers FC through injury. Tottenham Hostpur FC goalkeeper Neil Sullivan has also been ruled out of the game after breaking his thumb in training and is replaced by Neil Alexander of Cardiff City FC.
