Albania's Italian coach Giuseppe Dossena has dropped the experienced striker Bledar Kola from his 21-man squad for the two EURO 2004™ qualifying games against Switzerland in Tirana on Saturday and Russia in Volgograd the following Wednesday.
Myrtaj called up
Kola, who is replaced by Florjan Myrtaj from the Italian Serie C side AC Cesena, was left out for technical reasons Dossena said. Albania have yet to play in Group 10 which also includes the Republic of Ireland and Georgia but sees Switzerland and Russia top with a maximum three points.
