The Faroe Islands recovered from a goal down at half-time to beat Liechtenstein at home in an international friendly tonight.
Opening goal
Liechtenstein took the lead with a 40th-minute penalty from Hetta after one of their players was pushed inside the box at the end of their only real attack of the match.
Back with a vengeance
The Faroese came back with a vengeance from a goal behind as Christian Jacobsen equalised early in the second half from close range after a cross from John Petersen from the right.
Benjaminsen capitalises
Frodi Benjaminsen capitalised on a corner to put the Faroese ahead on 75 minutes and Julian Johnsson found himself in plenty of space to score a third as Liechtenstein pushed forward.
