New faces for Yugoslavia

Yugoslavia have named two uncapped players in their squad for next week's friendly against Brazil.

New faces
The newcomers are FK Partizan's 19-year-old striker Danko Lazovic, and the FK Crvena Zvezda midfielder Branko Boskovic, 22. "Lazovic is the best young player in Yugoslavia," Savicevic said. "He has not played for the Under-21 team, but he deserves a call-up for his recent performances. Boskovic, who has captained the U-21s, is also in excellent form and I want to see what he can do."

List of absentees
However, Savicevic is missing the injured Vladimir Jugovic, Goran Djorovic and Ljubinko Drulovic. While Darko Kovacevic is absent for personal reasons and FK Partizan's Dejan Stankovic serves a one-match ban.

Top opposition
"I will surely not have to motivate the players because we are playing one of the best teams in the world," Savicevic added. "Whether Ronaldo plays or not is of no interest to me. I want a positive outcome for us and a good start to the EURO 2004™ qualifiers."
