Liubinskas has recalled FC Spartak-Alania Vladikavkaz player Nerijus Barasa, but omitted another defender, Dunfermline Athletic FC's Andrius Skerla, from his 23-man squad. Lithuania are currently fourth in Group 5, five points behind leaders Iceland. After the Faroes, their remaining game will be away to Scotland on 11 October.
