Gellei waits on Gera fitness

Hungary coach Imre Gellei has named his squad for the must-win Group 4 qualifier against Poland in Budapest.

Gera included
Zoltán Gera, who has hit four goals in the qualifying campaign, is included despite struggling with an ankle injury. However, Gellei can be more certain of the form and fitness of Gera's strike partner, Imre Szabics. The 22-year-old scored for VfB Stuttgart against Manchester United FC in the UEFA Champions League in midweek, and will be looking to maintain an impressive record of five goals in five internationals.

Three points needed
Hungary need maximum points against the Poles to stand any chance of finishing second in Group 4 and reaching the play-offs. Gellei's team are currently third in the section, two points behind Latvia who face group winners Sweden in their final qualifier. "We have worked hard to keep our chances alive," said the coach. "But to achieve our goal we need the support of the Hungarian crowd."
