Goalkeeper Stiel missed Switzerland's 4-1 defeat by Russia on 10 September but has overcome a knee injury and looks likely to be fit in time. Yakin was also absent from the Moscow reverse as he was recovering from a groin operation.
Tight group
Group 10 is incredibly tight with just one point separating Switzerland, who are top with 12 points, from Russia and the Republic of Ireland. Russia are at home to Georgia on the same day.
