The official website of UEFA EURO 2004™, www.euro2004.com, has launched a new accommodation section which will allow fans from all over the world to search for and book their hotels for the UEFA EURO 2004™ final tournament which takes place in Portugal in June and July 2004.

The new section features content prepared by the EURO 2004™ central accommodation agency, the consortium chosen by Euro 2004, S.A, to arrange, organise and centralise accommodation requests. Users can browse the site by city, find a hotel that suits their individual demands and budget, and start planning their trip to Portugal.

'Indispensable tool' 
Paulo Ornelas, the central accommodation agency general manager, welcomed the launch. He said: "This site is an indispensable tool for football fans and visitors in general planning to travel to Portugal during the final tournament. The thousands and thousands of people that already have confirmation of their match tickets will be able to view and choose several types of accommodation and we will give our best to provide them with everything they need. I'm hopeful that our services will be much appreciated by everyone."

Quality service
The new site section was also welcomed by Sharon Burkhalter, the Euro 2004, S.A. head of operations. She said: "UEFA EURO 2004 is taking shape in several aspects and this is just another one being finalised. The kick-off date is getting closer every day and it's normal that people start to familiarise themselves with the accommodation options they have in Portugal. We're very happy with this launch and we trust the accommodation agency will be able to provide a high quality service to everyone."

Book early
With EURO 2004™ qualifying coming to an end, supporters planning to travel to next summer's final tournament in Portugal are advised to book their hotels as soon as possible as the race for rooms will be a very competitive one.
