New faces for Armenia

Armenia coach Mihai Stoichita has named four newcomers in his squad for the friendly against Turkmenistan.

Final preparation
Stoichita has called up all his foreign-based players for a fixture he will use to prepare for the country's remaining UEFA EURO 2004™ qualifiers against Greece, Northern Ireland and Spain.

Four new players
The four newcomers are Marian Zeciu and Galust Petrosyan of FC Pyunik, Anatoly Morozov from Russian Premier League side FC Rostov-na-Donu, and FC Banants player Nikolay Gibalyuk. However, it is unclear whether Gibalyuk will join the squad as he could still opt to play for Ukraine.

Leaders waiting
Stoichita's team are currently fourth in qualifying Group 6 with four points from five games. They next face group leaders Greece at home on 6 September.
