Janas names newcomers

Pawel Janas has included four new faces in his full Poland squad to face Croatia and F.Y.R Macedonia.

Polish national team coach Pawel Janas has included four new faces in his squad for the friendlies against Croatia and F.Y.R Macedonia after naming the 17 home-based players for his 26-man party.

New quartet
Defenders Rafal Lasocki of KKS Lech Poznan, Jaroslaw Bienuk of KS Amica Wronki, and GKS Katowice's Miroslaw Sznaucner, along with Legia Warszawa midfield player Adam Majewski will link up with the squad, for which the nine overseas-based members were previously announced.

Split fixture
Following the first match against Croatia in Split on 10 Feburary,  Marcin Baszczynski, Maciej Stolarczyk, Arkadiusz Glowacki, Kamil Kosowski and Maciej Zurawski of Wisla Kraków will leave the squad to prepare for their club's UEFA Cup fourth round matches against S. S. Lazio, as will the overseas-based players. 

Training camp
The rest will be joined by several players from the Olympic national squad for a short training camp ahead of the 14 February fixture against F.Y.R. Macedonia, as Poland warm up for their return to UEFA EURO 2004™ Group 4 action at home to Hungary on 29 March.
