Right knee
The 24-year-old winger will not play again for Rangers FC this season after being told to rest his right knee, which has been troubling him since he limped out of the derby match against Celtic FC on 28 March.
'About a month'
Rangers manager Alex McLeish told the club's website: "Peter has had his knee immobilised. He's had some trouble with it over the past few weeks and the specialist, along with the doctor feel that it will hopefully be cured if he rests for about a month."
Last appearance
Løvenkrands, who made two appearances in qualifying, has not featured for Denmark since appearing as a second-half substitute in the 3-2 friendly win against England in November.
