* Netherlands v France (Rotterdam)
Dutch coach Dick Advocaat will be without defenders Jaap Stam and Frank de Boer. De Boer has an ankle injury while Stam's problem has not been disclosed. Full-back Wilfred Bouma is doubtful with a back injury.
Real Madrid CF's Zinedine Zidane has pulled out with a groin injury, allowing coach Jacques Santini to call up Fulham FC's Steed Malbranque for the first time. France have also lost Arsenal FC duo Robert Pires (achilles) and Patrick Vieira (knee) and forward Steve Marlet. Striker Sidney Govou and midfield players Benoît Pedretti and Bruno Cheyrou have all been called up.
* Greece v Switzerland (Heraklion)
* Spain v Denmark (Gijon)
Spain coach Iñaki Sáez has called up RC Deportivo La Coruña defenders César Martín and Joan Capdevila to replace Iván Helguera and Carles Puyol, who have groin injuries.
Denmark defender Thomas Helveg has been ruled out with a knee injury and coach Morten Olsen has called up VfL Bochum's Søren Colding, who has not played for the Danes since 2000, in his place.
* Sweden v England (Gothenburg)
Sweden have brought in defenders Petter Hansson and Alexander Östlund as replacements for Andreas Jakobsson and Michael Svensson who have knee and calf injuries respectively.
England are without captain David Beckham after he suffered a calf injury in Madrid's 5-1 win against Sevilla FC. Beckham was due to return to Spain after being assessed by England's medical staff today.
* Portugal v Italy (Braga)
Cristiano Zanetti and Marcello Castellini (both thigh) have withdrawn from Italy's squad. Coach Giovanni Trapattoni subsequently called up Bologna FC defender Cesare Natali and AC Milan midfield player Massimo Ambrosini. It is the first call-up for the 24-year-old Natali and injuries to Alessandro Nesta, Fabio Cannavaro and Nicola Legrottaglie mean he might be in line for his debut on Wednesday.
* Bulgaria v Russia (Sofia)
Bulgaria coach Plamen Markov is without Svetoslav Todorov and Vladimir Manchev, who have only just returned from long-term injuries, but otherwise he has a full squad at his disposal.
Russia have goalkeeping problems as second-choice stopper Vyacheslav Malafeev has a broken wrist while Igor Akinfeev of PFC CSKA Moskva is facing a domestic ban after throwing a punch at an opposing player at the weekend. Midfield player Marat Izmailov, meanwhile, is likely to miss out because of an adductor muscle injury.
* Slovenia v Latvia (Ljubljana)
Andrejs Rubins will play despite a broken nose but Latvia have lost Igors Stepanovs to a late injury. The KSK Beveren defender arrived in Riga for further medical tests and coach Aleksandrs Starkovs said: "Stepanovs will not be able to play in Slovenia. But we're not going to call up any new players." Midfield player Igors Semjonovs, meanwhile, has stepped down to the Under-21 squad.
* Republic of Ireland v Czech Republic (Dublin)
Czech coach Karel Brückner has lost midfield player Karel Poborský, the most capped player in Czech history. The AC Sparta Praha captain, who has won 91 caps, has an ankle injury. Another midfield player, CSKA Moskva's Jirí Jarosík, will not play over concerns about his loss of form. Brückner has called up midfield player Libor Sionko and defender Roman Týce, and goalkeeper Petr Cech is another addition after returning from an elbow injury earlier than expected.
Croatia v Turkey (Zagreb)
The only new player in Croatia's squad, Australian-born FK Austria Wien goalkeeper Joey Didulica, has withdrawn through injury along with Hertha BSC Berlin midfield player Niko Kovac. Coach Otto Baric will not call for any replacemants.
Germany v Belgium (Cologne)
VfL Bochum international Paul Freier broke his hand in the derby against FC Schalke 04 on Saturday. The midfield player was replaced after 77 minutes but will be able to play on Wednesday with his hand in a splinter. Striker Miroslav Klose is definitely out, however, after damaging a ligament in his left knee during 1. FC Kaiserslautern's 3-2 defeat by Hamburger SV at the weekend.
