Returning four boost Switzerland

Johann Vogel, Christoph Spycher, Ricardo Cabanas and Benjamin Huggel are all back in the Swiss squad.

Return to fitness
The quartet missed last month's 1-0 defeat in Greece through injury but have been named in the 23-man party for the 28 April fixture in Geneva. Defensive stalwart Murat Yakin remains out with a long-term thigh injury, but may yet return to fitness before Kuhn names his finals squad on 2 June after their friendly with Germany.

Debutants retained
Daniel Gygax and Johann Lonfat, who both made their debuts against Greece, remain in the squad, along with Stéphane Grichting, who was not used in Crete but could win his first cap against Slovenia. However, Mario Cantaluppi has been left out while there is no recall for strikers Léonard Thurre and Blaise N'Kufo.

Switzerland squad
Borer, Stiel, Zuberbühler, Berner, Grichting, Haas, Henchoz, Müller, Meyer, Spycher, Zwyssig, Cabanas, Celestini, Chapuisat, Frei, Gygax, Huggel, Rama, Lonfat, Streller, Vogel, Wicky, H Yakin.
