Article body
Czech Republic coach Karel Brückner will field a new-look defensive lineup in his side's final UEFA EURO 2004™ warm-up game against Estonia on Sunday.
Defensive doubts
Brückner, whose side face the Netherlands, Germany and Latvia in Group D in Portugal, was not entirely satisfied with the performances of his central defenders despite Wednesday's 3-1 win against fellow finalists Bulgaria in Prague.
'New solution'
"David Rozehnal in the first half and René Bolf after the break made several mistakes," said Brückner. "We must look for a new solution." AC Sparta Praha's Tomáš Hübschman and Martin Jiránek – who plays his club football in Italy with Reggina Calcio - could be the Czech coach's choice for the heart of his defence against the Estonians.
Baroš back
Up front, striker Milan Baroš is likely to replace his Liverpool FC team-mate Vladimír Šmicer. Another forward, Vratislav Lokvenc, is sidelined with sprained ankle, but is expected to be fully fit for EURO 2004™.
Koller celebrations
The Czech players will get two days off after the game. BV Borussia Dortmund striker Jan Koller is to get married on Monday in Dobrís castle near Prague and several his team-mates will join his celebrations.
