Article body
Hungary coach Péter Várhidi has called up Motherwell FC midfielder Krisztián Vadócz for the first time since taking the role ahead of their historic friendly with Montenegro and UEFA EURO 2008™ qualifier versus Moldova next week.
Friendly fortunes
Várhidi was appointed after Péter Bozsik's resignation following the loss in Malta in October and made sweeping changes for subsequent friendlies - November's 2-1 win against Canada and the Cyprus tournament last month when his team lost 2-1 to the hosts but beat Latvia 2-0 for third place.
Debutants
His side will be in Podgorica on Saturday for Montenegro's debut international since splitting with Serbia, before welcoming Moldova to Budapest four days later as Hungary attempt to climb from sixth place in Group C. Vadócz, 21, was loaned to Scottish Premier League club Motherwell from AJ Auxerre in January and could make his first competitive appearance against Moldova. FC Energie Cottbus defender Zoltán Szélesi has been drafted in to replace the injured Roland Juhász.
