Scotland and Bulgaria are to play in a three-team international friendly tournament in Japan next month.
World Cup
The annual event will see Bulgaria take on Japan on 9 May in Osaka and then meet Scotland two days later in Kobe. The tournament will conclude in Saitama on 13 May when Scotland tackle the Asian side, who will use the matches as warm-ups for the 2006 FIFA World Cup finals.
EURO
Japan coach Zico, who will also lead his team in a friendly against Malta on 4 June in Germany, said: "We will take these games very seriously and I want our players to prepare well." Bulgaria and Scotland will not play any competitive matches until UEFA EURO 2008™ qualifying begins in the autumn.
