Davis reinforces Northern Irish

Northern Ireland boss Lawrie Sanchez has strengthened his midfield after the friendly win in Finland for the forthcoming UEFA EURO 2008™ qualifiers against Iceland and Spain.

Aston Villa FC's Steven Davis is available again after missing the Helsinki trip with a thigh strain, while Sheffield Wednesday FC winger Chris Brunt returns from Under-21 duty to the senior scene. Sanchez has also added Wrexham FC's Michael Ingham as third-choice keeper and brings back Leicester City FC defender Gareth McAuley.
