Rangers FC midfielder Hamed Namouchi broke the deadlock ten minutes before half-time, scoring his first international goal from the penalty spot. Toulouse FC's Brazil-born Francileudo Santos doubled the lead just after the restart and although the home side were reduced to ten men late on, yet another European-based player, RC Lens's Issam Jemma completed a 3-0 victory in added time.
