Knee blow
The Grasshopper-Club midfielder picked up the injury in the Zurich side's Swiss Super League game against FC Thun on 26 August. He will have an operation tomorrow and will hope to be back in contention in time to earn a place in the Swiss squad for UEFA EURO 2008™. Cabanas, 28, joined Grasshoppers from German second-tier side 1. FC Köln in the summer and has made seven appearances for his new club to date, scoring once.
