Slovenia coach Matjaž Kek has named his final squad of the UEFA EURO 2008™ qualifying campaign, selecting 19 players from 15 clubs for the Group G visit of Bulgaria on 21 November.
Uncapped Fodnezzi
Kek has resisted the temptation to make major changes despite Slovenia sitting fifth in the seven-team group – with 24-year-old goalkeeper Saso Fodnezzi being the only uncapped player involved. Although third-placed Bulgaria still have a slim chance of qualifying, Kek said: "I don't care if Bulgaria are fighting for second place, I just want to see my team play well. Bulgaria are a good side but they are also vulnerable. We want to finish this campaign on a high."
