Garics in for injured Ibertsberger

Austria coach Josef Hickersberger has made one change to the squad that drew with the Czech Republic for the matches against Japan and Chile.

Austria coach Josef Hickersberger has made just one change to the squad that drew with the Czech Republic last week as he turns his attention to friendly matches against Japan and Chile.

Ibertsberger replaced
Hickersberger clearly liked what he saw during the 1-1 draw with the Czechs and has kept faith with his players, replacing only injured captain Andreas Ibertsberger, who has a knee problem, with György Garics who made his Serie A debut with SSC Napoli on Sunday. Austria play Japan on 7 September in Klagenfurt and Chile in Vienna four days later, in a four-team tournament also featuring fellow UEFA EURO 2008™ co-hosts Switzerland.
