Liechtenstein Football Association (LFV) president Reinhard Walser has been re-elected at the organisation's 2010 general meeting.

Walser will serve a fresh two-year term in office alongside two fellow LFV board members and the members of the referees and appeals committees who were all re-elected.

The meeting was overseen by UEFA Executive Committee member František Laurinec, standing in for German Football Association (DFB) president Dr Theo Zwanziger, the UEFA Executive Committee member responsible for Liechtenstein.

Although its final accounts for 2009 showed a loss resulting from various sporting and social activities relating to the association's 75th anniversary, the LFV remains in good financial health.

Looking forward, Walser called on delegates to propose ways of developing the game further in their country. He said Liechtenstein should be targeting a place in the world's top 100 or qualification for the UEFA European Championship. This, he added, was a goal everyone should work together to achieve, however unrealistic it might seem.

František Laurinec expressed the hope that the UEFA European
Under-17 Championship, taking place in Liechtenstein this month, would encourage more local youngsters to channel their energies into football.
