Two suspensions
The 20-year-old FK Partizan midfielder is the only newcomer in Javier Clemente's squad for the game against Finland in Belgrade on 8 September and the trip to Lisbon four days later. Defenders Mladen Krštajić and Nemanja Vidić are included though both are suspended for the Finland match. Captain Dejan Stanković returns after a one-game ban while striker Nikola Žigić is also available after suspension and injury ruled him out of Serbia's last three qualifiers. Serbia are fourth in Group A, five points behind leaders Poland.
