Key matchday info for West Ham supporters

You’ve got your match ticket, now let’s get planning. Here’s everything you need to know if you’re a West Ham supporter travelling to Prague for the UEFA Europa Conference League Final 2023.

🚨 Please note

Do not travel to the stadium on matchday if you don’t have a ticket. There will be no tickets for sale at the stadium and you won't be able to access the stadium or any of the facilities in the area.

For travel information and access to updates on the go, be sure to check the official UEFA Europa app while you're in Prague.

💡 Know before you go

📱Mobile tickets

Make sure to transfer tickets to others in your group well in advance, ideally before leaving for Prague. It means you won’t miss out on any important matchday info, and it will also speed things up during stadium entry.

Arriving in Czechia

➡️ Entry and visa requirements from England
You won’t need a visa to enter Czechia but keep in mind that you will have to go through border control which may take some extra time.

Your passport must be:

  • Issued less than 10 years before the date you enter the country (check the “date of issue”)
  • Valid for at least 3 months after the day you plan to leave (check the “expiry date”)

You must check your passport meets these requirements before you travel. If your passport was issued before 1 October 2018, extra months may have been added to its expiry date.

Safety and security:
⚠️ Take extra care when near tram tracks and make sure you look both ways. Trams can’t stop quickly. Check the UK Government website for more info.

🚐 Airport Shuttles

There will be a shuttle bus waiting outside the terminal for all supporters that will take you directly from the airport to the West Ham Fan Meeting Point on matchday.

All shuttle buses will be accessible for disabled fans.

 🕧 Operating hours: 09:00 – 17:00
⌛ Frequency: every 15-20 minutes*
🚍 Travel time: 30 minutes

*⏳ If you're arriving at a busy time, you may need to wait a bit longer to get on a shuttle to the Fan Meeting Point.

🚌 Alternatively, hop on airport bus 119 (included in the free public transport programme) and connect to metro line A at Praha-Veleslavin station.

🚨 Post-match: There won't be any shuttles going back to the airport after the match. See guidance below on public transport.

🛫 Charter flights

➡️ Charter flights to Prague

If you’re travelling as part of an organised group on a charter flight from England, you will most likely arrive at Václav Havel International airport terminal 1.

  • Travel light without check-in luggage. Keep in mind bags larger than A4 size won’t be allowed inside the stadium.
  • Have your return boarding pass ready before you touch down in Prague. This will significantly speed up the departure process after the match.
  • After the match, use public transport to get back to the Fan Meeting Point or the airport.

⚔️ West Ham travel

You’ll have access to free public transport on the Prague network including DPP-operated metro, trams and buses and suburban trains in zone P0 (⚠️ only on 7 June, 08:00 – midnight) with your mobile match ticket from 8:00 on matchday (7 June) to 8:00 the following day (8 June). Simply show your mobile match ticket to public transport staff upon request.

🎉 Fan Meeting Point

West Ham supporters will be gathering at the Fan Meeting Point in Letná Park, a large and beautiful space overlooking the Vltava River. The celebrations will be in full swing on matchday with live entertainment, food and drink kiosks and more. All supporters are invited to join, meet fellow fans and get in the matchday spirit! For fans without match tickets, the final will be screened live at the Fan Meeting Point.

Entertainment programme

  • Your favourite matchday host Chris Scull will be joining to help count down to kick-off with plenty of entertainment to enjoy
  • DJ Tony Perry will be building the atmosphere with pre-match DJ sets to get you in the mood for the final
  • Lifelong West Ham fan Chesney Hawkes is taking to the stage for an afternoon performance filled with fan favourites, singalong songs and his biggest hits
  • West Ham United Supporter Services team will be on hand to assist you

Please respect the night-time low-noise rule, in effect from 22:00 in Czechia. Keep noise to a minimum when leaving the stadium and returning to the Fan Meeting Point.

📺 Public viewing

A public viewing will be organised in the Fan Meeting Point for West Ham supporters who are in Prague on matchday but have missed out on match tickets for the final. The match screening is a free-to-enter event and open to all ages.

🍟 Onsite services

The Fan Meeting Point is cashless! 💳

You can't bring your own food or drink but there's plenty of choice once inside to grab a bite. You can bring a small plastic bottle for water refills.

If you need to bring something in for medical reasons, please approach West Ham support staff onsite. There will also be an info point for any assistance you may need.

🧳 Bag policy

Suitcases of any size won’t be allowed inside the Fan Meeting Points. Bags and small backpacks can be brought in, just keep in mind bags larger than A4 size won’t be allowed inside the stadium.

🛣️ Getting to the stadium

⬇️ From the West Ham Fan Meeting Point:

1) Walk nine minutes (750m) to metro stop Hradčanská
2) Take line A for ten minutes and get off at Želivského
3) Walk 20 minutes (1.8km) to the stadium

📍 West Ham supporters will access Eden Arena from the north.

♿ Accessibility tip

Please note that if you're a wheelchair user, stops Hradčanská and Želivského are not accessible. The recommended route from the Fan Meeting Point to the stadium is to take tram 26 (Sparta station) to stop Strašnická. From there, you can take tram 7 or 19 to stop Slavia - Nádraží Eden.

Plenty of concessions will be in and around the stadium. Check the latest options on our Stadium page.

🚰 Water bottles

Bottles are not permitted into the stadium, but water bottles at the concessions will be reasonably priced. If required, water will be available from medical officials for those seeking assistance.

🔋 Power banks

You can bring a small power bank, no larger than your phone.

🚫 Forbidden items

👋 After the match

With a 21:00 kick-off and the Trophy Ceremony after the match, you can expect the celebrations at the stadium to be over at around 23:20. If there's extra time or penalties, expect the action on the pitch to continue until approximately 00:15.

As you know football is unpredictable and things can always change. These times should be considered estimates! ⚽

🚇 Public transport after the match

Public transport will be running at maximum capacity. The last departures after the match on metro line A from Želivského will be at 02:00 so you have plenty of time, even if the match goes to penalties.

✈️ Supporters on charter flights

Use public transport to get back to the city centre, the Fan Meeting Point or the airport.

To get to the Fan Meeting Point:
1️⃣ Walk back to metro line A station, Želivského (20 minutes, 1.7km)
2️⃣ Continue on metro line A to Hradčanská
3️⃣ Walk back to Letná Park (nine minutes, 750m)
