Dear football fans, dear finalists, welcome to Athens for the UEFA Europa Conference League final!

We are delighted to return to a city with such a profound cultural and sporting legacy, with two excellent teams eager to contribute a new chapter to its remarkable sporting story.

The Europa Conference League may be young, but it has already delivered many unforgettable moments, including two thrilling finals. The talent and skill this year's finalists showcased during the season promise another exciting final to be added to this string.

It is always a great pleasure to be back in Greece. I thank the Hellenic Football Federation and its president, Panagiotis Baltakos, for their hospitality and help in organising this event.

As of next season, we will launch a revolutionary new format for our men's competitions, including the UEFA Conference League. The changes promise more excitement, inclusivity, intensity, emotion and uncertainty, with an open model that underlines the importance of sporting merit. Everyone can dream of European glory and has the right to earn it on the pitch.

But now, let's focus on the present as one last win stands between two great teams and the prestigious trophy.

I wish you all a great time and may the best team win!

Panagiotis Baltakos, HFF president

Welcome to Greece, the country that gave birth to democracy, philosophy, theatre and poetry. The country that gave birth to the Olympic Games and passed on to the world the Olympic ideals and values of noble competition and fair play.

Welcome to the country of light and deep blue, which is ready to host and organise major football events.

Welcome to the final of the UEFA Europa Conference League, which will be conducted at the newest stadium in Greece, the state-of-the-art AEK Arena.

We welcome both teams and their fans and we hope the match will be worthy of the reputation and history of European football and the two finalists.

The assignment of this year's final to Greece is a great honour for the Hellenic Football Federation. At the same time, it proves the confidence in its management, and consists a tangible proof of the evolution of Greek football and its return to normalcy.

Greek football is ready to face the challenge of organising this major football event. We have been working hard and methodically for months, with the valuable support and cooperation of UEFA, in order to host a successful final.
