Litex look to Gospodinov

PFC Litex Lovech have signed Bulgarian international goalkeeper Yordan Gospodinov from PFC Naftex Burgas.

Three-year contract
The 26-year-old, who has four caps but has not played for Bulgaria since 2002, has inked a three-year deal with Litex and participated in his first training session with his new team-mates on Monday. Gospodinov will replace his country's No1 Zdravko Zdravkov, who moved to Rizespor this summer, and could make his debut against NK Željeznicar in the UEFA Cup second qualifying round on Thursday.

Bulgaria ambitions
Gospodinov becomes Litex's third summer signing following the acquisitions of defender Ivan Bandalovski and Brazilian forward Joao Soares De Almeida Neto. He will hope his performances with his new club will attract the attention of Bulgaria coach Hristo Stoitchkov.
